These earrings were a result of playing with hearts. I wanted heart earrings but not just studs and I'm a big fan of movement and articulation in my earring designs, I like how movement catches the light and reflects it out for a subtle effect. The starting point was cutting the hearts out of solid 14GF sheet and slightly doming it to give the hears some body. After that I st them aside and thought about how to present them. I decided that using Maru hoop studs would give the best movement, So I cut offset 3mm holes so the hearts would hang at an angle. And the rest was a bit of drilling and soldering et viola! Suspended Golden Hearts.
