This pair of earrings from the Keum Boo collection feature a criss-cross pattern of pure buttery 24K gold on a silver rectangle background. The piece has been slightly curved to give the earrings a bit of depth and character. These earhooks are soldered directly to the curved silver which gives the earrings a lovely swaying movement when worn. They are daytime statement earrings come evening elegance. Each pair is a one of kind as they are all handmade with care and the gold is applied by hand. Fully hallmarked, this pair is ready for dispatch.

About these earrings
Keum Boo is an ancient guilding technique first used in Korea and also found in Japan and China. The process involves layering pure 24K gold onto pure silver. A layer of pure silver is created on sterling silver through a process of depletion guilding using a torch. Then the pure gold is layered and bonded to the silver via heat and pressure. The results are striking!
